Masonic Riders Association

The Treasurer is elected after being nominated by a full member and accepting the nomination. To be elected, the Treasurer must receive the majority of votes at the annual general meeting.
The duties of the Treasurer include managing all club funds and collaborating with the Secretary and Quartermaster to maintain accurate records of the club's funds, property, and assets. The Treasurer will also communicate with the Guardian of Membership regarding members' fees and will keep precise records of all receipts, disbursements, and bank account transactions. At each meeting, the Treasurer will provide updates on the balances and details of expenses.
At the end of each financial year, the Treasurer, along with one other officer, will conduct an annual audit of all accounts and present the findings at the subsequent meeting. The Treasurer will be reimbursed for any out-of-pocket expenses related to their role upon submission of relevant receipts.
Additionally, the Treasurer is one of three signatories for all bank transactions and serves as a trusted advisor to the President.
